We have drawn inspiration from stores around the globe to create a simple solution to low waste shopping here in Queenstown. We are proud to partner with local suppliers from all over New Zealand to help bring all your essential weekly items to you in a sustainable, affordable way.

So how does it all work?

Our aim is the make the sustainable choice the easy choice, so we've created a shopping experience in just three simple steps:

Simply complete your weekly shop via our online store

2.

Choose the size and container type you’d like for each item

3.

Pick the delivery method that works best for you

We know what works for one doesn't always work for another, so we have a variety of different container options to cater to everyone

purchase

 

When you do your first shop you can select to purchase a New Leaf container for each item, then next time you shop we simply ask you to leave us the clean containers to swap out for a new one. This way you only need to purchase your container once.

recycle

 

Prefer to use recycled jars? No problem!

We have gathered quite a collection of jars ready to use for anyone not wanting to purchase one. Simply select recycle when choosing your container type and we will select the nearest size to your order with no extra cost. All we ask in return is that you pay it forward by leaving us some of your recycled jars for someone else to use.

If you’ve purchased a New Leaf container on a previous shop, make sure to select swap when choosing your container type and we will swap it for a pre-filled one. Then simply leave the old containers out for us to collect when we deliver your order, or bring them back with you when you collect your order.

own container

 

If you have the perfect container for your item, simply select Own Container when choosing your container type. These can be anything from Tupperware, old laundry liquid containers, jam jars etc. Then all we ask is that you either drop-off your clean containers to us (this can be at our Arthurs Point warehouse or the Remarkables Markets). Alternatively, if you opt for our Pick Me Up Service, we will collect your containers from your address and refill as per your order. We will then deliver straight back to your door or you pickup from us directly. 

Want to buy in bulk? 

 

 

We currently don’t stock any containers bigger than Extra Large (this is something we’re working on) but if you can provide your own container, we can fill it for you. Simply select Extra Extra Large as the size and Own Container as your container type. You can then either drop your clean containers to us or we will collect and refill for you.

We have two options available if you would like to collect your online order:

01.

Collect your order from our warehouse in Arthurs Point from Monday - Friday 

⊹ Morning Collection is 9am - 11am

⊹ Afternoon Collection is 4pm - 6pm


Orders placed before 3pm will be available for Morning Collection on the next business day.

 

Orders placed after 3pm will be available for Afternoon Collection on the next business day.

 

If you require a specific day and time please specify this in the add order notes section on checkout or give us a call/message. 

02.

Pick up your order from our stall at the Remarkables Markets *

Every Saturday from 9am - 2pm

From October until April

* Your online order must be placed before 3pm Friday for this option

local delivery & pick me up

We understand that life is busy, so let us help you with one less errand to run. For our Queenstown Customers we offer our Pick me up service and Local Delivery straight from us to you.

Pick Me Up Service:

Pick Me Up is $5 with a minimum order of $20. We also offer free pick up and delivery for orders over $75.

Simply select Pick Me Up Service  at checkout and we will collect your containers the same day (if you have ordered before 12pm). We then refill them as per your order and delivery these back to you the next working day. 
Delivery days are Monday to Friday. 

Local Delivery:

 

Local Delivery is $5 with a minimum order of $20. We also offer free delivery for orders over $75.

 

Simply select Local Delivery at checkout and we will pack your order and deliver it to your door. If you have ordered before 12pm we will delivery the same day. Delivery days are Monday to Friday. 

 

If you have jars to swap you can just leave them out for us. As we want to reduce our waste as much as possible, we will deliver your goods in a range of boxes and bags that we have collected, so if you have any lying around please feel free to leave these for us as well. 

 

If you have a particular place you would like us to leave your delivery when you’re not home just let us know.

coast to coast delivery

 

Live outside of Queenstown but still want to shop with New Leaf? No problem! We work with trustworthy couriers to post your shopping to you anywhere in New Zealand.

 

Midweek orders will be packed and handed over to our couriers the next morning. If your order is placed after 9am Friday it won’t be sent until Monday morning. 

 

Our delivery rates are set by the couriers so may change from time to time, but we will always keep you up to date. The current rates and timeframes are:

 

South Island - $7
 West Coast – $10

North Island - $13

Rural Deliveries may have an extra charge between $5 to $8
